Resignation of Rob Levin as advisor

On 18 December 2002, Robert Levin resigned his position as advisor to
the Board of Directors of Software in the Public Interest, Inc.  Robert
feels that current obligations do not allow him the time he requires to
fulfill his position in a manner satisfactory to him.

The Board thanks Robert for his contributions to SPI.
